The Estate is in the heart of Speyside, 2 miles for the village of Archiestown and 5 from Aberlour. The are is well served with a specialist delicatessen, butcher, old fashioned ironmongers, newsagent and Co-op supermarket. Deliveries are available from shops in Aberlour as well as supermarket chains online grocery services.

the County town of Elgin is twenty miles away with a cathedral, swimming pool, leisure centre, cinema, restaurants and shopping facilities including Johnston’s cashmere shop. Baxters and Brodie Countryfare are also near by.

30 miles to the south west is Aviemore, famous for its winter sports. Mountain-biking, walking and site seeing are also very popular activity in the beautiful Rothiemurchus Estate.

The name Knockando is perhaps best know for its association with malt whisky and the famous Knockando distillery. Cardhu, The Macallan and Tamdhu are also a near neighbours.
